The Queen's Health Systems, parent organization of The Queen's Medical Center, has had a clinical affiliation with 33-bed North Hawaii Community Hospital since 2005. Under the proposed deal, North Hawaii Community Hospital would become part of The Queen's Health Systems, but both organizations did not give further details of what a formal affiliation would entail.
Due diligence between the two hospitals, both of whom signed confidentiality agreements, is expected to be completed within the next 90 to 120 days.
