Binghamton, N.Y.-based Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital system has officially joined Sayre, Pa.-based the Guthrie Clinic.
All of Lourdes' services, facilities, providers and caregivers are now under Guthrie, according to a Feb. 1 Guthrie Clinic news release.
Guthrie now has around 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers across 29 Pennsylvania and New York communities with the Lourdes additions.
Guthrie initially agreed to acquire Our Lady of Lourdes in a transaction with St. Louis-based Ascension, the former owner, last June. Guthrie also reportedly borrowed $140 million for the acquisition.
A nonprofit, integrated health system, Guthrie comprises Sayre-based Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital; Guthrie Corning (N.Y.) Hospital; Guthrie Cortland (N.Y.) Medical Center; Binghamton-based Guthrie Lourdes Hospital; Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, Towanda (Pa.) Campus; Guthrie Troy (Pa.) Community Hospital; and the Guthrie Medical Group, among other services and facilities.
