New Hampshire health officials want to use $15 million in federal funding to construct a new behavioral health facility through Bedford, N.H.-based SolutionHealth, Seacoastonline reported Sept. 26.
The new facility would have 130 beds and is estimated to cost between $50 million and $55 million to build.
New Hampshire's Joint Legislative Fiscal Committee has approved funding, but the facility still needs to be approved by the state's Executive Council.
If approved, the facility would open in 2024.
