Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Spectrum Health has signed a non-binding letter of intent to explore a merger with Zeeland (Mich.) Community Hospital, according to a report by the Grand Rapids Press.
The 57-bed hospital and the health system will spend the next several months performing due diligence to ensure a merger is mutually beneficial, according to the report.
Spectrum is also currently in merger talks with Munson Healthcare, based in Traverse City, Mich.
