Mercy Health System in Chicago has announced it has completed its affiliation with Trinity Health, a Catholic healthcare system in Novi, Mich.
The announcement ends the process that began in November with a letter of intent to consolidate. Since then, Mercy Health and Trinity Health have received regulatory approvals, finalized a definitive agreement and received approvals from each organization's board.
