Community Hospital Anderson (Ind.) has become an official member of The University of Texas' MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston), a nationally-renowned program.
Due to the affiliation, Community Hospital physicians and specialists will have access to MD Anderson evidence-based guidelines including disease-specific guidelines for cancer treatment, prevention, early detection and follow-up care. Community's Cancer Care center will also have access to treatment plans and concordance studies from MD Anderson experts.
MD Anderson Cancer Center has been named among the top two in cancer care and No. 1 for 10 of the past 13 years by U.S. News & World Report, according to Community Hospital.
