Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems has signed a definitive agreement to sell Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, Texas, and its related outpatient services to Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare Services.
Dallas Regional became a CHS affiliate following CHS' acquisition of Naples, Fla.-based Health Management Associates in January.
The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the first quarter of 2015.
This is the second deal CHS and Prime Healthcare have recently entered into. Earlier this month, CHS signed a definitive agreement to sell RiverviewRegionalMedicalCenter in Gadsden, Ala., and its related outpatient services to Prime Healthcare.
