Lenexa, Kansas-based AxelaCare Health Solutions, a provider of specialty home infusion services, has acquired Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Ambient Healthcare, a company that offers home intravenous therapies and nursing care in the southeastern U.S.
AxelaCare’s national home IV therapy network expands into the Southeast region and its number of intravenous solutions pharmacies increases to 34 nationwide because of the acquisition, according to a news release.
Representatives from AxelaCare and Ambient said they were pleased with the deal.
This is the latest acquisition by AxelaCare, which also recently acquired Long Island, N.Y.-based Advanced Care.
