State and federal government regulators gave final approval to two hospital transactions initiated by Cleveland-based University Hospitals from earlier this year.
2. Saint Francis Hospital Seeks Other Buyers Outside of Health Quest
Saint Francis Hospital and Health Centers in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., is actively courting other hospital buyers as the organization navigates through the bankruptcy process.
3. UnityPoint Finley, Guttenberg Memorial Hospital Discuss Full Affiliation
UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa, and Guttenberg (Iowa) Municipal Hospital signed an agreement that would make GMH a UnityPoint affiliate.
4. New Jersey OKs Prime's Acquisition CON of St. Mary's Hospital
New Jersey's two primary healthcare regulatory bodies — the attorney general's office and health department — approved Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare Services' application to acquire St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic, N.J.
