Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy has struck an agreement with Logan Medical Center in Guthrie, Okla., to acquire it and its four clinics, according to a Mercy news release.
Under the deal, which will be finalized Oct. 1, the 25-bed LMC will become Mercy Hospital Logan County. LMC's four clinics, which will also be owned by Mercy, are located in Guthrie, Crescent and Edmond.
Mercy's integrated EHR system will connect LMC with the system's growing number of community hospitals. According to the release, Mercy is among 4 percent of hospitals in the nation with a shared EHR and shared medical records among its sites in four states.
