Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Miss., is merging the emergency departments of its north campus and south campus, which was formerly Riley Hospital, according to a wtok.com report.
The hospital has not made specific post-merger plans for the space that currently houses the south campus ED.
Hospital CEO Ray Humphreys said there will be no layoffs from the consolidation, which may begin as early as the end of the summer.
