Franklin, Ind.-based Johnson Memorial Hospital and Indianapolis-based Community Health Network have agreed to pursue a closer clinical partnership, according to a news release.
The collaboration aims to develop new clinical services and facilities that will increase area patients' access to healthcare and particularly specialized care. The partnership plans to expand JMH's cardiac services, to which Community Health Network and its cardiology group Community Heart and Vascular Physicians added diagnostic cardiac catheterizations in 2008.
JMH chose to partner with Community Health Network over Indianapolis' St. Francis Hospital and IU Health.
