1. Beth D. Zachary serves as president and CEO.

2. John G. Raffoul serves as senior vice president of finance and operations.  

3. The hospital has 353 beds.

4. The hospital has 1,566 total employees.  

5. In 2011, the hospital performed 4,200 inpatient surgeries, 18,000 outpatient surgeries and 3,200 births and had 52,500 outpatient visits, 16,500 non-admitted emergency department visits and 14,100 admitted emergency department visits.  

6. In 2011, the hospital recorded $1.6 billion in gross charges and $32.1 million in net income, according to the American Hospital Directory.

7. The hospital received a Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades in 2013.  

8. The hospital was dedicated in 1918. Responding to growing demand, the hospital built a five story, 180-bed facility that opened in 1937.  A growing community spurred the addition of 200-bed wing that was completed in 1955 at a cost of $2.3 million, and a 69-bed patient care tower was added in 1974.

9. The hospital was the first earthquake-resistant structure in California.  

10. The hospital is named for Ellen G. White, a healthcare reformer and central figure in the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
