6. In 2011, the hospital recorded $1.7 billion in gross charges and $46 million in net income, according to the American Hospital Directory.

7. In 2013, the hospital was named to Truven Health Analytics' Top 100 Hospitals and was recognized by Healthgrades as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals.   

8. The hospital was founded in 1951.

9. The hospital's medical staff includes more than 500 physicians.

10. The hospital is recognized as the best in Georgia for cardiology, coronary interventions, general surgery and gastrointestinal care.
