USC, ApolloMed to launch hospitalist leadership fellowship

Glendale, Calif.-based integrated delivery network Apollo Medical Holdings and USC's Los Angeles-based Keck School of Medicine plan to launch an intensive one-year fellowship program for hospitalist leadership.

The USC Hospitalist Leadership Fellowship Program at ApolloMed will include both clinical and nonclinical training, as well as training in patient safety, quality improvement, utilization review, care coordination, reducing readmissions, billing and business education.

The one-year training program will be hosted in conjunction with the USC Internal Medicine Residency Program. Both USC Keck School of Medicine faculty and ApolloMed staff will provide the training.
