Three physician groups in Massachusetts have renewed their membership with the provider network associated with Tufts Medical Center in Boston, according to a Boston Business Journal report.
Highland Healthcare Associates IPA in Winchester, MetroWest Accountable Healthcare Organization in Natick, and Pediatric Associates of Brockton renewed their ties with the New England Quality Care Alliance, a 1,600-physician network affiliated with Tufts and Floating Hospital for Children.
Those practices include more than 100 primary care physicians, 48 primary care physicians and 10 pediatricians, respectively.
The renewal means those groups will refer patients to Tufts and Floating for services that cannot be performed in the local community. It also means Tufts will not lose those referrals to other hospitals in the area.
