Tacoma, Wash.-based Sound Physicians will now provide services at 202-bed long-term acute care Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts in Springfield.
Vibra Hospital is part of the Vibra Healthcare network of hospitals and offers pulmonary care, complex wound care, dialysis, pain management and rehabilitation, among other services. Under the agreement, Sound Physicians will manage a team of physicians at the hospital and implement its workflow and communication system.
"We chose to partner with Sound Physicians for their reputation of quality care and their focus on transitions from acute care to long-term acute care hospitals to post-acute," Donna Feinstein, RN, chief clinical officer and chief nursing executive at Vibra Hospital, said in a statement. "We are confident in their ability to recruit and retain engaged physicians who will provide the best treatment to our patients."
