Fargo, N.D. and Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health and Broadway Medical Center in Alexandria, Minn., have signed a non-binding letter of intent to explore a merger, according to a Sanford news release.
The health system and multispecialty physician group practice will now begin due diligence with a decision for a definitive agreement set for Jan. 1, 2012.
Broadway Medical Center has 34 providers and over 100 staff in two locations.
