Kansas City, Mo.-based Saint Luke's Health System's Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute, in affiliation with the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, has received accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education for a fellowship training program in advanced heart failure/transplant cardiology.
The twelve month program is accredited through July 2015. The program will be open to cardiologists who have completed three years of fellowship training at an ACGME-approved program.
