In an effort to bring high-quality physicians to the area, a hospital in rural Idaho is targeting its recruitment campaign to providers more than a thousand miles away: physicians completing their residencies at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and Cleveland Clinic.
Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot launched its "Play Where You Work" campaign last week, placing ads in Cleveland and Rochester media outlets and promoting a new website.
The hospital is advertising Idaho's menu of outdoor recreational opportunities, low cost of living and culture of independence as perks for physicians.
"We want to attract even more of the best physicians in the field, so Bingham Memorial is focused on providing a great work environment, set in a naturally great play environment," said Bingham Memorial CEO and Administrator Louis Kraml.
