Budget cuts, proposed in both the Kansas House and Senate, would lead to the discontinuation and reduction of medicine programs at University of Kansas' campuses in Wichita and Salina, according to a report by The Wichita Eagle.
According to the report, the Kansas House proposed a 4 percent cut for all regents universities next year. The Senate proposed 2 percent cuts.

• Closing the School of Medicine-Salina
• Reducing admitted nursing students by 50
