Integrated Medical Professionals, a multi-specialty practice that includes the largest independent provider of urological and radiation oncology services in the country, has partnered with Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, according to a joint news release.
IMP includes Advanced Urology Centers of New York and Advanced Radiation Centers of New York. Under the new affiliation, IMP patients who need certain procedures — such as complex renal or robotic surgeries, complicated reconstruction or the removal of the bladder or kidney — will be referred to Mount Sinai. After the patients receive the necessary care at Mount Sinai, they will then return to their IMP physician for follow-up.
Along with the patient coordination plan, the hospital and IMP will also share the same electronic medical record system. IMP includes 101 physicians in 52 locations in New York.
