The Federation of State Medical Boards will house and manage all available physician training records from Philadelphia-based Hahnemann University Hospital before it closes on Sept. 6.
FSMB took custody of records dating back to 1990, with some earlier records available. FSMB permanently stores training records for closed residency programs, in case past residents and fellows need to obtain the information as they apply for state medical licensure or need hospital privileges.
FSMB is currently transitioning and cataloguing the records. It did not provide a date for when they would be available.
