In the past 18 months, Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae, Calif., has acquired six medical practices as part of its clinic network expansion, according to a North Bay Business Journal report.
Through its six practice acquisitions, the hospital is now affiliated with 29 physicians. The acquisitions include Cardiovascular Associates of Marin and San Francisco Medical Group, the San Rafael Medical Center, North Marin Internal Medicine, West Marin Medical Center, Marin Medical Group and Soluna Sausalito Medical Clinic.
The acquisitions follow Marin General's separation from Sutter Health 18 months ago. It has since returned to its publicly-controlled Marin Healthcare District.
A cost figure for the six practice acquisitions was not available at the time of the report's publication.
