Iowa Health System, based in Des Moines, Iowa, and Quincy (Ill.) Medical Group have signed a letter of intent to create an affiliation, according to a health system news release.
When finalized, the affiliation is expected enhance both organizations' capabilities to coordinate patient-centered healthcare and improve efficiencies. Both organizations will conduct due diligence and hope to finalize the affiliation by the end of the year.
