Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis and Hennepin Faculty Associates, an independent physician group, plan to merge, according to a Star Tribune report.
The County Board is expected to approve the deal on Nov. 29, which would bring the now private physician group under the umbrella of the county-owned health system.
The group includes 320 physicians and dentists and approximately 1,000 employees.
