Torrance, Calif.-based HealthCare Partners, the nation's largest operator of physician groups and networks, has acquired Arta Health Network and Arta Western Medical Group, based in Irvine, Calif.
Arta Health Network and Arta Western Medical Group includes 800 physicians who care for more than 76,000 patients.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Yesterday, HealthCare Partners announced it had acquired Albuquerque, N.M.-based ABQ Health Partners.
In May, HealthCare Partners announced it is exploring a merger with DaVita. The two expect the deal to close by the end of the year.
