Oakland, Calif.-based Council of Accountable Physician Practices announced Tuesday the addition of two new members: Chicago-based Advocate Health Care and North Shore – Long Island Jewish Health System in New York.
The 26-member council consists of integrated medical groups dedicated to using teamwork, continued education, IT and a coordinated, preventive approach to healthcare.
Members include Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger Health System, Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System, Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare and Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente.
CAPP is an affiliate of the American Medical Group Foundation.
