A new white paper from the American Hospital Association's Physician Leadership Forum considers the core competencies needed to deliver coordinated, team-based, value-driven care, providing hospitals and physician groups with tips on training physicians to provide such care.

In the white paper, the AHA Leadership Forum says hospitals need to "reflect on and understand how they can increase the valuation of the competencies throughout their organizations and specifically the role they can play in helping to ingrain the competencies into training programs within their facilities."
