American voters give presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton a clear advantage on healthcare issues over presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, the latest Kaiser Health Tracking Poll finds.
Here are three findings from the poll.
1. Overall, the survey finds more voters say the Democratic Party best represents their healthcare views (47 percent) than the Republican Party (35 percent).
2. When asked which of the major party's presumptive presidential nominees best represents their healthcare views, more voters chose Hillary Clinton (46 percent) than Donald Trump (32 percent).
3. In general, though, 85 percent of Republican voters and 93 percent of Democratic voters said their own political party best represents their healthcare views. Independents are much more closely divided with nearly four in 10 saying the Democratic Party best represents their healthcare views and nearly one-third saying the Republican Party represents their views. Additionally, one in five independents say that neither political party represents their own views on healthcare.
