Just over a third of Americans approve of how President Donald Trump's administration has handled healthcare, according to a Nov. 1-11 Gallup poll.
President Trump's healthcare approval rating was the lowest of any category, including the economy, foreign affairs and immigration. While a 36 percent approval rating is low, it marks the beginning of an upward trend in approval on healthcare for President Trump. Gallup has polled on healthcare only twice before, in November 2017 and June 2017, when President Trump earned healthcare approval ratings of 31 percent and 28 percent, respectively.
Broken down by political party, approval appears deeply partisan. Gallup found 74 percent of Republicans or respondents who lean Republican approve of how President Trump is handling healthcare, compared to just 6 percent of Democrats or respondents who lean Democrat.
