Americans are looking to improve their health and financial situations in 2023, according to a recent survey from Statista.
The data platform surveyed 413 U.S. adults between the ages of 18 and 89 regarding their New Year's resolutions. Data was collected between Oct. 22 and Nov. 2 as part of Statista's Global Consumer Survey. Participants could list more than one resolution.
These eight resolutions were the most common:
1. Exercise more (52 percent of respondents listed this as one of their resolutions)
2. Eat healthier (50 percent)
3. Lose weight (40 percent)
4. Save more money (39 percent)
5. Spend more time with family and friends (37 percent)
6. Spend less time on social media (20 percent)
7. Reduce stress on the job (19 percent)
8. Reduce spending on living expenses (19 percent)
