Stanford (Calif.) Hospital & Clinics has adjusted its name to better reflect the breadth of its health system and clinical services.
The system now goes by the name Stanford Health Care. The system is part of Stanford Medicine, which includes Stanford Children's Health and Stanford University School of Medicine.
"As our organization innovates and expands its leading edge and coordinated care approaches, our communications approach is evolving as well," Amir Dan Rubin, president and CEO of Stanford Health Care, said in a news release. "Our new name reflects our commitment to healing humanity through science and compassion one patient at a time, across our entire Stanford Health Care system."
