ReviveHealth tapped as agency of record for $4B healthcare fund: 6 things to know

ReviveHealth, an integrated marketing communications firm specializing solely in health and healthcare, has been selected as the strategic marketing communication agency of record for Pamplona Capital Partners IV, the $4 billion healthcare-focused private equity fund of Pamplona Capital Management.

Here are six things to know about the decision.

1. As agency of record, ReviveHealth is Pamplona's go-to marketing communication agency for all of their healthcare portfolio companies.

2. ReviveHealth was awarded the business based on the agency's "deep experience in the health systems, health services and health technology sectors and for its expertise helping companies in the space navigate and translate the complex business of healthcare into clearly differentiated brand and market advantages," according to a news release.

3. Jeremy Gelber, MD, partner at Pamplona Capital Management, said ReviveHealth stood out in particular because of its deep understanding of brand, the business-to-business customers, digital marketing strategies and employee communications.

4. Brandon Edwards, CEO of ReviveHealth said of the decision, "We look forward to helping Pamplona match a focused branding and marketing strategy with its focused investments in solutions to some of healthcare's toughest challenges."

5. The decision comes about a month after Pamplona Capital Management, a private equity fund manager, announced the acquisition of MedAssets. MedAssets, which offers cost and clinical resource management and data and analytics tools to help provider organizations run more efficiently, agreed to be acquired by Pamplona Capital Management for $2.7 billion in cash.

6. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
