Pennsylvania's Evangelical Community Hospital Unveils $32M Expansion Project

Expansion and renovation plans for Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, Pa., are underway, according to a Williamsport Sun-Gazette report.

The $32 million construction plans include two new floors that feature a cardiovascular suite, two catheterization labs, eight operating rooms, a 16-bed post-anesthesia care unit and more. Hospital officials hope the construction plans not only improve efficiencies but also attract physicians and other clinicians.

The renovations are expected to be completed Oct. 2012.
