Southbridge, Mass.-based Harrington HealthCare System is laying off 12 employees and freezing wages for its entire workforce of about 1,300 people, according to a Worcester Telegram report.
Clinical and nonclinical positions will be affected by the layoffs. Along with the layoffs and pay freeze, the system is also lessening work time for another dozen employees by two to eight hours. Nine vacant jobs will also remain unfilled.
