Greenville (S.C.) Hospital System is altering its brand and name, switching to "health system" moniker.
Effective March 18, 2013, Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center will become Greenville Health System. It will take up to three years to switch all signage across the system's five medical campuses and 167 affiliated physician sites. A new logo will also accompany the new name.
"GHS is more than just a hospital — we are a health resource for our community and a leader in transforming the delivery of healthcare for the benefit of the people and communities we serve," President and CEO Mike Riordan said in the release.
