The man that brought Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger its money-back guarantee — emeritus CEO Glenn Steele, MD, PhD — will share his tips and tricks on how the health system serves a population of well over 3 million in a talk with the Denver Medical Study Group April 4.
Denver Medical Study Group is a group of healthcare professionals and service providers that holds bimonthly events featuring experts in healthcare innovation and reform. The DMSG community includes more than 680 professionals from every aspect of the healthcare industry.
Dr. Steele will speak in front of the group April 4 in a presentation titled "Value-Based Healthcare: What it Looks Like, What it is, How to Achieve." He will explain how Geisinger developed and implemented value reengineering for its patients in both hospital and ambulatory care settings, detailed as the inception of the health system's "warranty" promise.
Dr. Steele will also share insights on his work with xG Health Solutions, a Geisinger spinout, and the Health Transformation Alliance.
