Erlanger Health System Starts Fiscal Year With $1.3M Loss, Blames Physician Vacation, Overtime

Erlanger Health System, based in Chattanooga, Tenn., has reported a loss of $1.3 million for the start of the new fiscal year, up from last year's loss of $1 million, according to a Times Free Press report.

According to the report, July marks the first month of the current fiscal year. Officials attributed the hospital's losses on overtime and physician vacations, according to the report.
