Connecticut Regulators Expected to Approve $8.4M Windham Hospital Expansion

Connecticut's State Bond Commission will most likely approve an $8.4 million expansion of Windham Hospital in Willimantic, Conn., according to a Hartford Business news report.

The expansion plans include a new 30,000-square-foot medical center adjacent to Windham Hospital for primary care, medical oncology, physical therapy and rehabilitation, laboratories, orthopedics and general surgery. Gov. Dannel Malloy expects to break ground later in the summer and anticipates a completion date of fall 2012.
