College Station Medical Center to Cut 12 Positions

About 12 employees at College Station (Texas) Medical Center will be laid off or transferred to other positions, according to a report by The Eagle.

Affected employees work in the hospital's business office, such as the billing department, according to the report.

"All hospitals are operating in challenging times and considering how to reduce expenses in order to be more efficient," a hospital spokesman told The Eagle. College Station has 650 total employees.
