Children's Minnesota CEO extends contract through 2024

Minneapolis-based Children's Minnesota President and CEO Marc Gorelick, MD, signed a five-year extension to his contract.

Dr. Gorelick assumed the top post at Children's Minnesota in December 2017. He succeeded Bob Bonar, who retired after a three-year tenure. He was previously president and COO of the organization.

The health system's board of directors agreed to extend Dr. Gorelick's contract through 2024.

"Under Marc's leadership, Children's Minnesota is becoming the recognized epicenter of expert care and the charity of choice for kids' healing," said Martin Bassett, board chair, in a news release.
