Trish Hannon, MBA, became president and CEO of Boston-based New England Baptist Hospital in November 2009.
Since taking the helm of the 120-year-old hospital, Ms. Hannon has refocused NEBH's mission as New England's only orthopedic specialty hospital focused on patients with musculoskeletal diseases and related disorders. NEBH is nationally ranked as a top hospital for orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report, achieved top decile performance in clinical quality reported by The Joint Commission, Premier and Healthgrades, and was recently honored with the Press Ganey National Guardian of Excellence Award for top performance in patient satisfaction for its seventh consecutive year.
Additionally, Ms. Hannon oversees a strategic relationship between NEBH and Boston's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center to create a top destination for orthopedics.
Ms. Hannon has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare administration in clinical operations and strategic roles. Prior to joining NEBH, Ms. Hannon served as COO for Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass., and senior vice president for healthcare operations for Baystate Health, also in Springfield.
