Mountain Home, Ark.-based Baxter Regional Medical Center is laying off 13 employees as it restructures its medical and surgical units, according to a Baxter Bulletin report.
BRMC is reorganizing the units in light of declining inpatient admissions. At mid year, the year-to-year admission decline was 7 percent, according to the report.
All affected employees will be able to apply to open positions at BRMC.
