American Telemedicine Association announced Oct. 28 the addition of four new members to its 2020 board of directors.
Here are the new members joining the ATA Board of Directors:
· Mike Baird, president of customer solutions at American Well.
· Joseph M. DeVivo, CEO at InTouch Health.
· Andrea Gelzer, MD, senior vice president of Medical Affairs at AmeriHealth Caritas.
· Yasmine Winkler, former CEO at UnitedHealthcare Community and State's Central Region.
The members will join Elizabeth Bierbower, segment president at Humana, and Robin Glasco, co-founder and managing partner at Bambu Global Healthcare Advisors, who were both also recently appointed to the board.
ATA announced in July that Joseph C. Kvedar, MD, was elected president, effective in April 2020. Dr. Kvedar, who serves as vice president of connected health at Boston-based Partners HealthCare, previously served as ATA president from 2004-05.
ATA comprises a network of technology solution providers, payers and partner organizations focused on advancing industry adoption of telemedicine.
