Rick Reid has been named CFO of Sonoma Valley (Calif.) Hospital, according to a Sonoma News report.
The appointment comes shortly after Sonoma Valley Hospital and Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae, Calif., announced a management services and affiliation agreement. The partnership is expected to allow both hospitals' administrations to share more physicians, negotiate more favorable reimbursement rates and possibly reduce IT, billing and marketing services.
Mr. Reid was already previously serving as the controller at Marin General and will be contracted to work at Sonoma Valley Hospital as CFO three days out of the week.
