Laurie Eberst, founding president and CEO of Mercy Gilbert (Ariz.) Medical Center, will leave the Catholic Healthcare West hospital for a new job at a sister hospital in California, according to a report by The Arizona Republic.
During her tenure, Ms. Eberst has helped Mercy Gilbert rank as one of the nation's number one hospitals by Baptist Healing Trust and the Phoenix Business Journal.
Patty White, president and CEO of Chandler (Ariz.) Regional Medical Center, will serve as interim CEO until the hospital finds a permanent replacement for Ms. Eberst.
