CEO John Welsh is retiring from Rumford (Maine) Hospital after 23 years on July 1, according to a Sun Journal report.
Mr. Welsh will serve as chairman of the state board for the seven Community Dental practices in Maine and be a board member for LifeFlight Foundation, which supports Maine's statewide medical helicopter service.
David Frum, president of Bridgton (Maine) Hospital, will assume Mr. Welsh's position in addition to his current role. Both Bridgton and Rumford hospitals are part of the Lewiston, Maine-based Central Maine Medical Family.
