Gary L. Jepson, CEO of Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos, has announced his resignation after nine years with the hospital, according to a San Marcos Mercury report.
Mr. Jepson has led the Adventist Health System hospital through several expansions and renovations, including the addition of a new women's center, neonatal intensive care unit and cardiac unit. The hospital currently has a hospital-acquired infection rate below 1 percent.
An interim CEO will be appointed before Mr. Jepson departs, according to the report.
