Pittsburgh-based West Penn Allegheny Health System announced the opening of a new Breast Care Center at its Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville, Pa.
The center will offer comprehensive breast cancer services, including advanced breast diagnostic procedures such as digital mammography, breast ultrasound and direct digital stereotactic breast biopsy services.
The Breast Care Center is part of a $20 million investment in Forbes Regional by Highmark, which has entered an affiliation agreement with WPAHS.
